Exchange Terms & Conditions

At Qala Elegant Tales, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer an exchange policy under the following terms and conditions:

Exchange Timeline

  • Products can be exchanged within 7 working days from the date of delivery.

Exchange Eligibility

To be eligible for an exchange, products must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Unused Condition: Products must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered

  • Original Condition: Items must retain their original form with no damage, tears, or stains

  • Tags Intact: All original tags and labels must be attached

  • Original Packaging: Products must be returned in their original packaging

  • Original Invoice: Must be provided at the time of exchange request

Mandatory Requirements

  • Video Proof: An unboxing video of the received product is mandatory for all exchange requests. This helps us verify the condition of the product upon delivery.

  • Proof of Defect: If exchanging due to product defects or quality issues, video evidence must clearly show the issue.

Shipping & Handling

  • Shipping Charges: All shipping costs for exchange (both return and re-delivery) will be borne by the customer.

  • Packaging: Customers must ensure products are securely packed for return shipment.



Products NOT Eligible for Exchange

The following products cannot be exchanged under any circumstances:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order products

  • Products with alterations (stitching, fall, hemming, tasseling, etc.)

  • Discounted/SALE/Bargain items

  • Sarees and Dress Materials (unless defective)

  • Products without proof of purchase from Qala Elegant Tales

Exchange Process

  1. Contact Us: Email us at qalaelegantales@gmail.com or call +91-8077765119 within 7 working days of receiving your order

  2. Provide Details: Share your order number, reason for exchange, and unboxing video

  3. Approval: Our team will review your request and approve if it meets all eligibility criteria

  4. Return: Ship the product back to us at your expense using the address provided

  5. Inspection: Once received, we will inspect the product within 3-5 working days

  6. Exchange: Subject to availability and inspection approval, we will ship the exchanged product

Important Notes

  • No Refunds: We do not offer cash refunds. Products can only be exchanged for another item of equal or greater value.

  • Product Availability: Due to the handcrafted and unique nature of our products, each piece is one-of-a-kind with limited availability. We cannot guarantee that an identical piece will be available for exchange. You may choose an alternative product of equal or greater value from our available collection.

  • Final Decision: Qala Elegant Tales reserves the right to make the final decision on whether a product qualifies for exchange. Our decision shall be final and binding.

  • Inspection Rights: We reserve the right to reject exchange requests if products do not meet our eligibility criteria.

Product Care Disclaimer

  • Being natural materials, fabrics may be prone to shrinkage and color bleeding (especially natural dyes)

  • Dimensions may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of our products

  • We do not guarantee color/purity/content of zari unless explicitly stated

  • We are not liable for any defects arising from third-party customization services

To maintain the beauty and longevity of your Qala Elegant Tales products:

  • Dry clean ONLY

  • Avoid contact with liquids, especially perfumes

  • Change folds regularly and store in pure cotton fabrics

  • Handle with care to preserve the handcrafted details
